Privacy Policy
Welcome to Kirana Calculator ("we," "our," or "the application"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Android utility application designed to assist with grocery weight and price calculations.
1. Overview of the Application
Kirana Calculator is a utility application intended to calculate grocery item prices and weights based on price per kilogram, desired rupee amounts, and weight quantities. The application operates primarily offline on your device.
2. Information Collection
We respect your personal privacy. Our data practices are outlined below:
- No Personal Information: We do not require, collect, store, or solicit personal identification information such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
- No Account Required: Kirana Calculator operates without requiring you to create an account, log in, or sign up.
- Calculation Inputs: Numbers, weights, and price values entered into the calculator are processed locally on your device for immediate calculation purposes.
3. Device and Usage Information
The core calculator functionality does not track your physical location or access private device hardware such as your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or media files.
4. Internet and Network Access
The core mathematical calculations of Kirana Calculator do not require an active internet connection. Certain standard Android system components or third-party libraries (if present for maintenance or operational purposes) may require standard network access.
5. Local Data Storage
Kirana Calculator may store non-sensitive preferences or calculation history locally on your device using Android's standard local storage mechanisms (such as internal SQLite databases or Preferences). This data remains under your direct control and is removed if you uninstall the application or clear its application data through Android system settings.
6. Third-Party Services, Analytics & Advertising
Depending on distribution channels or operational requirements, utility applications may integrate standard third-party services for performance monitoring or reporting:
- Analytics and Crash Reporting: If crash reporting or performance analytics are utilized, they collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic logs (such as OS version, device model, and error stack traces) solely to identify and resolve software bugs.
- Advertising: If advertisements are displayed within the application, advertising partners may process anonymized device identifiers in accordance with applicable platform policies.
7. Data Security
Because the application does not transmit or store personal identifying data on remote servers, the risk of unauthorized online access to personal information is minimized. We follow recommended security guidelines for Android application development.
8. Data Retention
We do not maintain user databases containing personal information. Local history and preferences are retained only on your physical device until deleted or uninstalled by you.
9. Children's Privacy
Kirana Calculator is a general audience calculation tool. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so appropriate steps can be taken.
10. Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your usage of the application. You may stop all data storage at any time by clearing application data via your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications to the application or legal requirements. Updated policies will be posted at https://codingnut06.github.io/kirana-calculator-privacy-policy with a revised update date.
